  • What is RV StatTracker™?
  • RV StatTracker™ is a tracking and monitoring service that converts the basic Opportunities - Activities - Result data of your individual sales people into factual, useable information to help them improve. Using our proprietary technology, the system analyzes key components and compares them to our set standards to determine specifically where a sales person needs help in 12 critical areas. Knowing "Closing Ratios" is not enough information to determine if a sales person is taping their true potential. What would your dealership be like if every sales person reached his/her potential? They can, but you must know where they need help and most importantly, how to improve.

  • What does your company do for our dealership and what part does our staff have?
  • Your part is easy. At the end of each day, the sales people fill out a simple form letting the sales manager know some key parts of their day. Specifically, how many opportunies and of what type they had, what they did with those opportunities, and what the results were. This takes the sales person approximately 2 minutes. The sales manager then logs into your dealership's RV StatTracker™ web portal and inputs the information for each sales person for the day using simple drop down menus. The manager then hits the submit button which transmits the data to us via email.

  • How long does this daily process take? Our managers are already busy.
  • This process takes about 2 minutes for the sales person each day and less than 1 minute for the manager to input per sales person, per day.
    Our proprietory software then goes to work automatically on our end and performs the necessary calculations. We compare your sales staff's data against our set standards. These standards in several areas has been established over 10 years of research and development into what can take every sales person, team, location and dealership to the next level and beyond. As each day progresses the program begins to paint a picture of each sales person's daily life, then weekly, then monthly and quarterly.
    Once 30-60-90 days transpires, a clear picture of each sales person's strengths and weaknesses appears. Strengths and weaknesses that many managers and owners are not even aware of until they see our results. Now we know where to spend our time with each sales person.

    We've worked with dealers all across the US and Canada that track much of what we track. They do this because someone, at sometime, told them they were supposed to track.   • Absolutely! We can handle any size dealership and supply you with a training and improvement program for multiple sales teams/managers within a store as well as multiple locations for larger dealerships.   • How much does this cost?
  • There is a one time set up fee for your secure web portal per location. After your portal is set up we offer a free live tutorial webinar for all your management staff to show them how to use our easy system.
    Once you are up and running you are charged a monthly fee per location as well as per salesperson for us to calculate, analyze, and compile your statistical information weekly and delivery it via email to principles and manangement. In addition we send you detailed monthly analysis with an optional printed and bound analysis and graphical representations of each sales person, team and location charting out a complete, easy to understand picture of the dealership.
    More importantly, we also tailor and send you a complete training/counseling program for each sales person to target the weak link(s) in their performance based on their statistics compared to our pre-set standards. Your managers implement this program with our guidance.
    The proper use and implementation of these tailored training/counseling programs is your dealership's key to targeted improvement and increases at every level in the sales department.

  • Does anyone else see our data?
  • Absolutely not. Your data as well as our solutions for your dealership are kept completely confidential. Your data is only shared with staff the dealer principle authorizes.

  • What is our dealership getting for our money and when should we expect results?
  • Just as one day or a week's work does not give you a clear indication of a salesperson's skill, neither does monitoring and tracking over a short period of time. After the first 30 days of weekly reports and analysis you will begin to see patterns developing with each of your sales staff and managers as well. After 60-90 days the data takes on a new meaning as it is not influenced by any potentially good or bad day, week or month.
    We have discovered that tracking 90 day moving averages is the most accurate way to discover the definitive strengths and weaknesses of each sales person, sales team, manager, location, and the entire dealership. After this period the counseling and training program we will supply your staff with will be highly targeted and if implemented by your management team, will yield results at the individual salesperson level with marked increases in their closing ratios, gross profits and income. This will then be multiplied by an improved sales staff and will show in the dealership's volume and margins. We teach your sales department how to sell on purpose, not on accident.
    For example, if you have 8 salespeople selling towables with an average front end gross of $3500 and each salesperson sells one additional unit per month consistently, that is $336,000 in increased front end profit per year, PLUS additional back-end profits and hold-back on nearly 100 additional units! All with NO additional spending on advertising or increase in traffic. And this number does not include the obvious potential for increasing average gross profits per deal!

  • How is our sales staff going to react to us tracking and monitoring?
  • We have talked to hundreds of sales people across the US and Canada about this exact thing. It's always in the delivery! If you simply tell your staff that you need them to do something at the end of every day before they go home and that you're going to be tracking and monitoring their activities, you're going to get a poor reception.
    We believe anything you can turn into a question, you can solve. Sales people are no different than anyone else in that they want to know what's in it for them. Present the benefits by asking questions: "If I could show you how to increase your closing ratio from 6-8% to 15-20% would you want to know how?" "Assuming for a moment I could show you how to increase your income from $50k to $75-80k per year without having to work any more days or hours, can I assume you'd like to know how to do that?" We've seen salespeople do just that with our system.
    The bottom line is that you as a dealer have a right to know what your sales people are doing with your customers.

  • What if our salespeople cheat on the numbers to make themselves look good?
  • Our system is designed to prevent exactly that. There are check and balance systems built into RV StatTracker™ that prevent false information from showing a salesperson is performing better than they are. If a salesperson "fudges" on any of their daily info, i.e. how many customers they had or maybe say they did "X" amount of presentations that they actually didn't, the other numbers won't be accurate and will fall below standard and make it look as though they are failing in an area they may not be. When you begin counseling the salesperson about their shortcomings (which may not actually be below standard at all), it will be due to them giving false or inaccurate information elsewhere.
    The system is carefully designed to show any stat that is "off balance" from a predetermined standard. When this check and balance system is properly presented to the sales staff and they understand they're not doing themselves any favors by reporting false numbers because it will always come back to a negative result elsewhere, you will rarely see any numbers that are not accurate. And no one wants to be trained and counseled in an area they may not need any help in at all.
    Your sales staff need to understand that you are trying to catch them doing something rignt!

  • Is sales training included in this program?
  • *In-house training is not included in your monthly fee. We use the data we compile to supply your dealership with a targeted counseling/training curiculum specific to each individual salesperson for your managers to implement. If you need or prefer, we will come directly to your dealership to implement a targeted sales & management training program for an additional fee. In house sales and management training fees are discounted for RV StatTracker dealers.
    Our in house sales training is second to none because it comes from on the line, retail sales and management experience and is presented by the President of our Corporation himself.

  • Are we obligated for any period of time?
  • Yes. Your dealership must commit for a minimum period of 90 days to start. Accurate and useable data cannot be achieved in too short a period of time. After 30-60 days patterns will emerge that we can begin to work with before targeted improvements for each staff member can be formulated. After that period your dealership recommits for 90 day segments as it continues to see improvements.
